Donation Of Equipment To Terry Farrell Firefighter Fund

Wednesday, August 11, 2010 The fire company donated, turnout gear, flashlights, P.A.S.S. devices, safety vests, hose, nozzles and a variety of other equipment to the Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund.  Tim Lohan from the Pennsylvania chapter of the fund graciously drove to the fire house to pick up the equipment.

It was brought to the attention of our members that many fire companies all across the United States are in desperate need of just about anything you can image.  Apparatus, turnout gear, flashlights, P.A.S.S. devices, SCBA bottles, SCBA masks, nomex hoods, gloves, monetary donations, etc will gladly be accepted.  After hearing the horror stories about firefighters in other states, fighting fires wearing only gardening gloves, it was the least we could do.   If anyone reading this article knows of a fire company that has stuff  lying around the firehouse that is not being used, or you don't know what to do with it, PLEASE, contact the Terry Farrell Firefighter Fund and they will find a place for it.  It's all about BROTHERS and SISTERS helping each other!!
