The members of the fire company would like to express their thanks and gratitude to Chief Doug Vorp for all of his hard work, dedication and leadership for the past 3 years. Doug is an outstanding member of the fire company and rose through the ranks to become Chief. It's never easy to take on the type of responsibility he did, but he took the challenge head on as any great leader would. He always did what was in the best interest of the fire company and showed us the meaning of the word "Brotherhood" and "Pride and Ownership". As he steps down from the role of Chief, he is not going anywhere. He will continue to be an essential part of the fire company as he always has been for more than 18 years.
